When August Hering founded this company on 17 October 1884, he put all his ambition and considerable engineering know-how into his plans. And his success was to prove him right. For more than 125 years now, Hering has been manufacturing high-precision plants and heat exchangers that are in demand all over the world and that are characterised by their long working life. With its long tradition of innovativeness and reliability, Hering designs and realises individually tailored technical solutions for customers from the most varied of industries.

We can supply solutions of optimum thermodynamic design for a wide range of sectors and for almost any application. We produce modular standard equipment and customised designs as per customer specification, in compliance with international norms and standards.
We also make safety heat exchangers and sterile equipment to FDA standards for the pharmaceutical and food processing industries. Our customers benefit from the type of service that can only be provided by midsize companies with short decision-making processes.

We are an experienced and flexible company in the field of apparatus and plant engineering, which has existed since 1995.
We have the following approvals as a specialist welding company: TÜV- HP0, HPO/EN 3834and ASME PQR1+2.
Furthermore we are certified according to DIN ISO 9001 since 2008 (Status ISO9001:2008)
Our main field of activity is the manufacture of pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, piping and pipe accessories, mainly from rust and acid-resistant stainless steels of the following grades: 1.4301- 1.4571-1.4306-1.4435-1.4539. In
addition, the following can be processed: Inconel, Hastelloy, titanium, as well as heat-resistant stainless steels 1.4828 / 1.4841, and in exceptional cases carbon steel.
We manufacture all components according to customer drawings, according to customer requirements, also with construction.
